
Dr Cherekee Hill BDS (Hons I) Sydney

Dr Cherekee Hill graduated from University of Sydney in 1998 with First Class Honours and worked as a RAAF dentist for 6 years before entering private practice on the Gold Coast. She owned her own practice in Southport before starting a family later in life.
Cherekee enjoys getting to know the patients to provide them with the best outcomes. She became interested in Dental Sleep Medicine when she saw family members struggling with Sleep Apnea and is currently studying her Postgraduate Diploma in Sleep Medicine at the University of Sydney. She has been mentored by Dr Harry Ball, a pioneer in Dental Sleep Medicine from Melbourne and Dr Leonard Fabre for 30 years.
An avid learner, she also enjoys teaching and mentoring, having taught at the University of Queensland and Griffith University in Clinical Dentistry. Currently she mentors first year graduates through the Queensland Branch of the Australian Dental Association. She has volunteered her time and skills at the Church of Christ Dental Clinic in Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu since 2016.
Cherekee has completed hundreds of hours of continuing professional development in Sleep Medicine, Orthodontics, Clinical Dentistry, Periodontics, Radiography, TMJ Disorders/Pain and Restorative Dentistry.
Her professional memberships include the Australian Dental Association, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Australasian Sleep Association and the British Society of Periodontology and Implants.
In her spare time, she loves adventure holidays and keeping fit.
Dr Leonard Fabre

Dr Fabre graduated from Sydney University in 1972 and commenced private practice on the lower North Shore Sydney. The practice soon grew from a solo practitioner to a multi-practitioner facility. He moved to Newcastle area in 2006 and practiced at various corporate dental clinics over a number of years. His passion and expertise lay in non-extraction dentistry, preventive dentistry, crown and bridge work, periodontics and cosmetic dentistry.
Following his passion, over the years, he served many academic roles such as Part-Time Honorary Clinical Associate at Syd. Uni PeriodonticsUni Periodontics and Prosthetics, Honorary Senior Clinical Associate Periodontics at Syd. Uni. Periodontics, Part-time Senior Clinical Lecturer clinical mentor BDENT degree and part-time lecturer at Newcastle University, Ourimbah Campus of Oral Health.
Not only is he great mentor, but he is also continually dedicated to learning and holds several post-graduate degrees such as Grad. Cert. Dentistry Adel. Uni., Grad Diploma Clinical Dent. (Periodontics) Adel. Uni., Master of Science Medicine Pain management (TMD, OFP). He has completed over 250 hours of training at the L.D.PankeyD. Pankey Institute USA in complex dentistry. In 2017 he was awarded the prestigious Fellowship to the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
He is also a member of American Academy Periodontics, Brit. Soc Periodontics, Western Society Periodontology, L.D.PankeyD. Pankey Institute Alumni Association and Association and International Association Study of Pain.
